A tour.

I were watching tour de France for 15 minutes while I were eating lunch the other day. They were cycling to Barcelona. I actually thought they were only going around France in the tour the France. Cycling is probably the only sport I enjoy watching. But I am actually not looking at the cyclists, but the surrounding areas they are passing true. A lot of nice places !

Yesterday I went out and had had some beers with some friends. So today were kind tired, therefore I decided to go and have a vegetarian burger menu at Burger king for brunch. On my way there I past by a couple of street art pieces I have made. So I photographed them with my mobile phone.

David LaChapelle

I just saw a German documentary about the art/fashion photographer David LaChapelle, Its a free and very good steaming from the TV channel NRK. I liked seeing that he was still shooting his pictures with a analogue camera using good old 120 mm film rolls, and a polaroid picture to see the result at once. His pictures are truly remarkable. I like the way they are balancing on a line between realism, surrealism and popart. He has a very distinct expression and you can almost instantly see that a picture is his work. Even though he of course is working in the same tradition as Cindy Sherman, Jeff Wall and Gregory Crewdson.

Anyway here is a link to the documentary. Its pretty good. (Even though its a German film, they are almost just talking in English, with a Norwegian subtitle).

Actually its way past midnight, but after three weeks of summer vacation my inner clock is running a bit late. It never gets dark during the Norwegian summers anyway, so it doesn't matter what time it is.
